Doodling All Those Years in School Led to This

I used to doodle constantly during class. The edges of my notebook pages were filled with curls, swirls, vines, leaves, flowers and the occasional human character. I'm still a kid at heart so the doodles of the past have turned into the illustrations of the present.

Inspired by Love and Life

Well, today is my four year anniversary with my boyfriend. That's what inspired to draw this. It was done with ink and then digitally colored. Inspiration is all around us. :)

Something Spooky This Way Comes

I started thinking about my next piece of art earlier today and so began doodling. I am always prone to drawing a lot of loops and squiggles for some reason. When I showed them to my boyfriend and asked him if he had any ideas about what I should paint next, he said that the doodle reminded him of Medusa.

So, I whipped up this painting. Don't let her cute exterior fool you though as she can be quite deadly. You can find a print of this painting here on Etsy:

Currently Working on Artwork for Stormie and Mel

I'm so excited to announce that I'm currently working on some pieces for "Stormie and Mel." They will be posted in the upcoming week.

So far I have a banner that I've worked on. I feel that it truly conveys the concept behind my work and shop.

Enjoy and stay tuned for Stormie and Mel's antics!
